The mural is beautiful and you stare at it is fascination. After a few minutes you notice something you didn’t expect to be there. In that moment you remember the long afternoons spent with your grandfather in the library as he pored over ancient texts occasionally making notes in his journal. The memory is old but there’s no mistaking it, the bottle is just as it was in Grandpa's notes - it’s GREY.

As you press the GREY bottle it unexpectedly sinks into the wall. A series of clicks and whirs resonate throughout the quiet room as the mural swings open. The room beyond is dark, but after feeling along the wall for a moment you find a light switch. A magnificent library is revealed, but the light of the room pools around a desk on the far wall. . .

The desk is obviously custom made and decorated with the same symbols you’d seen decorating pages and pages of your grandfather's journal. The center drawer stands out though, it’s the only one with a complete pattern and it seems to have some sort of lock.

Each of the five rotating dials seems to have letters so it must need a password. You remember the mural you just passed through and how it had different rumored ingredients from GREY in it. Maybe you’re looking for the name of an ingredient? But which GREY ingredient has 5 letters?

The lock clicks and the drawer slides smoothly open. The inside houses a box and a scattering of tiles, each labeled with a number. It seems you’ve come to face a 3rd puzzle in the form a 4 digit combination. The last two puzzles had answers rooted in GREY itself, so this one probably does too. 4 digits is usually a year, so what year is significant for GREY? Maybe the year it was founded?

The gentle click of the mechanism opening signals you’ve succeeded! Your hand trembles slightly as you reach forward to open the lid and see what your grandfather has hidden away.

The lid opens and inside you see something you’ve only ever seen in your Grandfather’s research. Your hands are really shaking now as the lift a bottle of GREY from it’s cushioned home. Amazing, you can hardly believe it - it was all real! Your Grandfather was right!

After a moment of admiring the mythic GREY Wash, you notice a letter strapped to the inside lid of the box. You unseal the envelope and ease a letter out from inside. Upon unfolding the paper, a scrap of weathered paper falls out - it appears to be a map. As you read the letter you understand its significance. . .

“My Dearest Grandchild,

If you’re reading this, you’ve followed my clues to my bottle of the famed GREY Wash. I grew too old to seek out the rest of the mythic SET and was never able to unite them. But, I was able to find this piece of a map from a merchant. Hopefully it will lead you to another bottle. My lifelong quest is in your hands now.
